Hi,
I am using FW 1144, Deye sun 10. Following some data.
Solar Battery Load self Con
2070 90 2020 140
1560 220 1650 130
780 -370 260 150
980 -820 0 160
0 90 0 90
The current observa is that the self Co sumtipn is between 140 and 160 Watt depending on the operating point. If I take into Account that I check check the last digital, that means +-10 Watt, the selfco sumption is about 140 Watt if solar is on. If no solar and no load, the selfconsumtion is about 90 Watt.
@martin99119 I thought about measuring battery on inverter vs on BMS now I measure both. Difference is an almost zero in total daily consumptio. BMS has faster readings so it looks different but its not in my case. I have Pace BMS.
Regarding self consumption measurement you cannot count on total LOAD value from the inverter, it involves self consumption of the inverter. You have to read LD values, do a SUM and distract that value from battery and solar panels. That is it. But still your readings looks fine.
Thanks a lot to reply my Post. Does my data similar to yours.
The point because I am not rwally satisfied is following.
If I calculate the selfconsumtion for 1 year by using 120 wh
0,120 kwh x 24 x 365 = 1000 kwh per year.
If I calculate the selfconsumtion for 1 year by using 120 wh
0,120 kwh x 24 x 365 = 1000 kwh per year.
Well, I still differentiate between what the PV has collected and the consumption from the grid. I don't count anything that comes from PV and doesn't result in grid consumption because the battery is empty. You could calculate the lost feed-in tariff exactly. Compared to other hybrid solutions, however, the difference is no longer so great because other solutions also consume electricity themselves. The difference is therefore much smaller than the 120W suggests. If there is not enough PV and the battery is empty, I switch off the battery on the Deye and the consumption drops to ~20W. I can live with that with a clear conscience.
You are both right. 1MWh for a year is correct, but it still involves PV power which you did not generate without the inverter... If you measure total consumption per day/month you can just substract from total PV generation.
When we talk about NET consumption from grid that can be saved it also can be measured by few conditions. Turn off battery when it sits on SOD by automation and start counting hours when it is (would be) in idle and multiply by 100-110W. Turn on battery when inverter wakes up from panels. Saving function I hope will be added I hope and this acitivity wont be neccessary.
Every inverter hybrid/offgrid high frequency or victron type has still 30W+ consumptiom per phase when it runs. It is just physics. They just usually do not measure that so users are happy until it is winter, there is no PV, inverter is running and they compare grid consumption to the last years when they did not have solars at all and it is 50-80kWh higher...
English translation:
Fine... I am not here for two weeks and there's already an argument? 🤣
So that the thread here doesn't die out because people only write in English, I suggest that everyone who writes something in English adds their translation. This can be done simply with copy paste and preferably not with google translator (which sucks) but with deepl (www.deepl.com).
This way everyone can read and understand at least 90% of what is written

Gute Idee. 👍
