Ich habe mir einen Titan Solar Wandspeicher gekauft und obwohl eindeutig Growatt Kompatibilität beworben, wollte der SPH4000 nicht mit dem CAN Port des SpeicherBMS reden.
Ich habe recherchiert und herausgefunden, daß der Titansolar Akku eine Pace BMS verbaut hat.
Mit Pbms Tools das Protokoll auf Growatt CAN geändert und es läuft.

Bisher hatte ich keine Möglichkeit gesehen wo ich das Protokoll ändern könnte - die Notwendigkeit hatt ich auch nicht, da das BMS mit dem SunnyIsland kommunizierte.
Übrigens ist mein BMS vor zehn Tagen durchgebrannt und warte gerade das ein neues kommt
Hi, i need some help i am retro fitting a Pace P16S100A 12720 20A to a 15S battery. It has the option to change the cell number to 15 but no indication of what to do with the 16th cable. Also i get a 0V on cell 16 that gives a cell error in the bms. I have mailed Pace but their support is not helpfull. This seems to be the most knowledgeable thread i have found. Thanks Chris
I would guess the wire has to be connectet with Batterie+. For the reason, that it wird will take the task of power supply from the 16th.

you see a description how to operate a BMS without any Batterie cell. Just a Lab power supply and a bunch of resistors.
The advantage ist, by using the current limiting feature of a Lab supply you may have nearly everything imaginable wrong with the wiring, but no chance of hazarding the hardware.

Hi, thanks for the prompt response. That would mean wire 15 and 16 are connected to B+. Is this correct ?

Thats my guess.
You may use your Ampmeter, your Multimeter, range 200mA to connect .. Current has to be below, say, 50 mA. Then its ok. Ist the current Higher, disconnect immediately.
If you connect, the Zero Volt of the upper cell measurement should bei fixed immediately, das, 2 Seconds longest. Thats Shows im as well.

Hi, the only way i have been able to get the 16th cell not to give an error is to add another cell Temporarily. But this does not solve my issue. Any other ideas. As joining 15 and 16 does not resolve the problem.

Ist ite an option INSIDE the parameters in the firmware? Set by App or pc?
The zero Volt display of cell 16 shows, that the BMS ist still in 16 cell mode. Did you switch it to 15 cells, or 15s?

Set via the PBMS software. from 16 cells to 15 cells.
You Set to 15s, you still geht 16 voltage values?
Then the setting goes wrong.
I do also setting cell numbers in JBD BMS, have have done it several times. I Always geht the correct number of cell values according to the setting.
These BMS are not anounced to be settable, i Just checked the Option available.
